Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. This problem can be solved easily for the time beign by just downloading an app that installs those two DLLs. We had the same problem with Netflix on of our own virtual machines.

Hello, I have just recently purchased a Toshiba laptop with windows 8. I started watching Netflix, paused it and came back to a green screen.

However, my white line is on the left edge of the video from the top to bottom of the screen. Thankfully it's not the monitor as Netflix even adds it to old shows as well as current shows, whether in full screen or windowed mode. It does not happen in Prime, Foxtel or Stan, and thankfully it doesn't happen in the Netflix app either, so that's better than nothing for now.
